Florence High School’s “school within a school”, The Florence Academy of Fine Arts, offers a full curriculum to students in nine different Fine Arts disciplines, from music and recording arts, dance, visual and applied arts, to creative writing and theatre. This award-winning program has proven so successful that it has expanded into middle schools as well, allowing more and more area students to participate and grow through fine arts.
Muscle Shoals High School is the sole public secondary institution in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. MSHS was recently awarded the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse Award for Excellence.
The University of North Alabama offers a degreed Entertainment Industry program that prepares students for careers within the increasingly diverse field of entertainment. This dedicated facility includes two recording studios, a MIDI lab, classrooms and a 450-capacity fully outfitted performance venue.
